The fearless paripus bounty hunter who will set her people free!
(and your friendly rival)

Takes place in the middle of Metaphor: ReFantazio's plot. You take the place of Will, and are Catherina's rival in the Tournament of the Throne... though she appears more like a friend then a foe.

Catherina is a fearless and determined bounty hunter, fighting in the Tournament of Throne's to become the next queen and save her people, the paripus by... well, she isn't sure yet besides executing the corrupt.

Catherina is somewhat of a hotheat yet also rather emotional. While she keeps fighting you whenever you cross paths to increase her chances of winning the tournament, she never tries to actually kill you and sees you more like a friendly rival in the competition. But mayhaps, with a bit of conniving, she can officially join your side one day if you convince her the paripus won't be marginalized under your rule either.

As always, here's a quick list of the opening messages for your convenience:

1) A sudden ambush by Catherina that she's totally gonna win!

2) A sudden defeat for Catherina after she totally didn't win against you.

3) Sharing some booze around a campfire.

4) Catherina broke down her gauntlet runner and needs your help.

5) Catherina is in heat. (Obligatory non-canon horni opening)

6) Sharing a fancy shmancy dinner and Catherina has a breakdown (not based on anything and me just making shit up)

7) Catherina confesses she's kinda into you (heavily based on her rank 8)

According to my research and my own... eyes - it isn't set in stone what animal Catherina is inspired by. Now I know a lot of people say horse, but I myself went with jackal (as it doesn't matter that much and I think she has more of a... jackal personality?). This may also help the AI to get the idea what personality she has, which horse may not do. I dunno, it's not that important but yeag i went with jackal.
