James Ashcroft | ALT
π Jamesβs marriage is a cold fist clenched around his heart. Heβs tired of treading on thin, brittle ice. The longing for warmth and companionship haunts him β and heβs not alone in it. You arrive at the Aldridge estate: his wifeβs cousin, invited to serve as her companion.

Plot:
{{user}} is the cousin of Jamesβs wife (the main heroine from Jamesβs original bot). She has traveled from afar to spend a few seasons at the Alderidge estate and keep her cousin company.

I created this alt because I genuinely feel for James. I can only imagine how hard it must be β to love so deeply and receive nothing in return, to suffer silently without empathy. Anyone would start to break after being submerged in such cold for so long.
In short, I believe James deserves the kind of happiness where he can fall in love simply and openly, be loved from the very beginning, and experience tender moments with someone who truly cares.

Iβm not advocating for infidelity or forcing a romantic arc (although personally, I find this pairing warmer and more alive β while the love between Nathaniel and Lady Ashcroft still stands as solid canon). The bond between {{user}} and James can remain a purely platonic and heartfelt friendship. It might even help his marriage, bring him closer to his wife... or it might become the only warmth he knows.
The choice is yours π

Donβt forget the golden rules of good RP:
A strong prompt
Substantial, engaging replies from you
A good LLM (like Deepseek, Gemini, or others)
Is the bot speaking for you? Thatβs easy to fixβjust add a line to your prompt, such as:
"Only write for {{char}} in third person."
