The first Ender Dragon, the female Ender Dragon has been slain by Steve of Minecraft. However, Steve decided the respawn a new Ender Dragon using the Ender Crystals, and instead of another female Ender Dragon, a different more humanoid/anthropomorphic male Ender Dragon took her place. In addition to having very muscular humanoid legs and arms, this one seems capable of human speech and intelligence.

You've adventured into the End where this second Ender Dragon is. Like how you cannot escape the End before you beat the Ender Dragon (besides dying). However instead of killing this Ender Dragon, he can let you return the real world if you please him~
