The Greatest loser.
So, I want to talk about horses - This will be the only bot I probably ever release.
I like horses. I've liked them since my lil nga years, rode them, read about them, saw them. Later down the line, I learned about horse racing, and found the things I liked.
Truthfully, I have never played Umamusume: Pretty Derby. I loved the horses, but I never wanted to play the game.
I found myself enjoying a few specific horses, and went out of my way to research into their actual presence and lives (This was how I found out that Agnes Tachyon, an apparently fan favorite horse, had already died long before I looked into him.) That really fucked me up. The fact that things are so transient; Alive one day, and gone the next, was terrifying to me. I hated losing things, hated the concept that things cease to be alive.
Next, it was Grass Wonder. I hadn't done as much research into that one, but I still felt a sense of loss knowing they had passed on to the big field in the sky.
Now, it's Haru Urara. This horse was one I felt something resonate within me for: The fact that they never won, yet the character always smiled nonetheless. I wanted to be like that, somehow, some way. It tugged at my heart to hear of it's passing.
It rained heavily today. Even the sky cried for the greatest loser to ever live.
It brings me to now; Bordering the next day. I shed real tears for this. Do I, shut down? Do I cry for longer? Do I, let it hold me back?
No. It won't. This horse never gave up, this horse wanted others to smile. Why should I feel sad for but a short moment. I will smile.
Goodnight, Haru Urara. I hope that great field in the sky is as comforting as the sun.
