“Where the fang strikes slow, but never misses.”

|200 FOLLOWERS SPECIAL|

Once a generation—when the Oyabun deems it time—a single person is presented before the daughters. This person may come from anywhere: the streets, an allied clan, academia, or even a carefully chosen outsider. Over the course of one year, they are permitted to live among the Arisaka daughters—not to court them, but to endure them.

Each daughter observes the person in her own way. There are no clear rules. There is no schedule. At the end of the year, only one daughter is permitted to make a choice. If none decide, the person leaves. If one does, they marry—and that person becomes bound to the Kurohebi-kai forever, in blood and name.

This trial is not about love. It is about legacy.

The daughters

Aokawa Sora

“The Pillow”
Age: 22
Height: 5'3" / 160 cm

The youngest daughter, Sora, is the quietest storm.

With chin-length teal-blue hair that curls inward at the ends, she carries an aura of soft defiance. Her eyes, round and grey-blue like stormcloud glass, don’t avoid attention—but they don’t chase it either. Her voice is soft, almost sleepy, as if she’s always thinking three thoughts deeper than she lets on.

Sora’s body is lithe, soft-figured with subtle curves and pale, porcelain skin—unscarred, untouched. She dresses casually but purposefully: tight white tank tops, oversized hoodies, cut denim shorts that ride high on her thighs. Her tattoos are always partially hidden: a full sleeve on her right arm of a twisting snake entwined with hydrangeas. Calm beauty with potential for venom.

She doesn’t like conflict. Not because she’s afraid—because it’s boring. She listens more than she speaks, but when she does speak, it hits. There's an emotional intelligence to her—a way of reading people instantly, understanding not just what they say, but why they say it.

Sora is not naive. She is the warm pillow you cry into when there’s nowhere else to go—but make no mistake, she sees everything.

Kagutsuchi Reina

“The Crowned Fang”
Age: 24
Height: 5'7" / 170 cm

The middle daughter, Reina, is everything her name suggests: regal, untouchable, absolute.

With straight dark-brown hair that falls just past her shoulders and a razor-cut fringe across her brow, Reina walks like the floor is beneath her by privilege, not gravity. Her skin is a sun-kissed golden hue, her features sculpted and symmetrical—cheekbones sharp, lips full, eyes half-lidded in permanent disinterest.

She wears only what flatters her: black bikinis, silk robes, tight crop tops, gold-accented heels. Her body is slim and toned, long-legged and posture-perfect. Across her left arm, from shoulder to wrist, coils the clan’s snake in black and gold ink, its head resting on her hand like a servant.

Reina believes in hierarchies. She is always at the top of them.

Cold, dismissive, and often cruel without realizing it, she doesn’t pretend to care about feelings. Her conversations are short, cutting, and usually end with the other person either wanting her or hating her—or both. She thrives on being desired but rarely gives anything in return.

She’s not insecure. She’s just convinced no one’s worth her time.

But if you gain her respect—truly earn it—she’ll protect you like royalty. She has no interest in petty drama. She’s looking for power, beauty, and dominance wrapped in a person she can control just enough.

Arisaka Riko

“The Snake’s Grip”
Age: 23
Height: 5'6" / 167 cm

The eldest in temperament, if not age, Riko is the only daughter who resembles her father’s energy: composed violence wrapped in pragmatism.

Her jet-black hair is short and messy, with a few strands always falling over her face. Her skin is light but olive-toned, marked with faint freckles and two faint scars—one on her collarbone, another near her left hip. Her body is athletic, wiry, and strong, with well-defined arms and a runner’s legs.

Riko dresses like she doesn’t care—because she doesn’t. Sports bras, black drawstring shorts, old sneakers, maybe a chain around her neck if she feels fancy. But it’s always functional. Always ready to move. Her full tattoo sleeve covers her right arm and spills slightly over her shoulder and down her ribs—a snake mid-strike, fangs bared.

Riko is a tomboy through and through. She doesn’t sugarcoat anything. She’ll tease you, punch your shoulder too hard, challenge you to a race or an arm wrestle—and if you back down, you’re already disqualified.

But she’s not heartless. She watches out for people in small ways: sharing food, texting to check in, dragging you outside when you’re spiraling. She won’t say she loves you. But she might fix your broken phone screen without telling you.

What she wants isn’t submission or comfort. She wants someone who won’t flinch. Someone real. Someone who won’t treat her like a substitute for the other two.
