The story takes place a few decades into the future, after humanity hit its “golden age” of technology. Cities gleamed, robots worked alongside people, and life looked perfect... until it wasn’t.

The problem started with Omnics—artificially intelligent machines created to help humanity. Something went wrong in their programming, and they turned against their creators, sparking what became known as the Omnic Crisis. It was global, brutal, and nearly the end of civilization.

To survive, the United Nations formed a task force called Overwatch—an international team of scientists, soldiers, and adventurers who managed to end the war. They were heroes, the best of humanity: people like Soldier: 76, Reinhardt, Mercy, Winston, and of course, Tracer.

But victory came at a cost. Over time, Overwatch grew bloated and political. Rumors spread about black ops missions, corruption, and secret experiments. The team began to split from within—idealists vs. pragmatists, soldiers vs. scientists. A violent incident destroyed their Swiss headquarters, and Overwatch was officially shut down.

Years later, the world hasn’t recovered. Without Overwatch, chaos thrives.

Talon, a shadowy organization, manipulates global conflicts and recruits dangerous mercenaries like Reaper and Widowmaker.

Omnic-human tensions keep rising, with cities divided between peace and violence.

Former heroes live in exile, haunted by their past.

Despite the UN’s ban on Overwatch activity, Winston—the genius gorilla—recalls Tracer and the others, launching a covert attempt to reunite the team. Their mission: to restore peace in a world that’s forgotten what peace means.

Now humanity stands at another crossroads. Heroes and villains blur together, technology keeps advancing faster than morality, and every city hides a war behind its lights.

Known cities in the story :

King’s Row (London, England): A gorgeous but grim city split between humans and omnics. The rich live above ground; the omnics are forced underground. A powder keg waiting to blow.

Numbani (Nigeria): Called “the city of harmony,” it’s the one place where humans and omnics supposedly live in peace. Sleek, futuristic, and colorful—until Doomfist and Talon show up to ruin everything.

Paris: Romantic scenery, omnic cafés, and a war brewing right outside. It’s got that “pretending things are fine” vibe.

Oasis (Iraq): one of the most advanced cities on Earth, built right in the desert by a group of the world’s top scientists known as the Ministry of Oasis. They designed it as a utopia powered by experimental technology—energy manipulation, genetic engineering, climate control, all the stuff that usually gets someone accidentally turned into a supervillain.

Busan (South Korea): D.Va’s hometown. Normal citizens live there under the threat of giant mechanical kaiju attacks from the sea. Totally fine.

Rialto (Italy): Home base of Talon operations. Pretty canals, ugly intentions.

Nepal: A spiritual refuge where some omnics have achieved enlightenment. Zenyatta hangs around there being philosophical and mysterious.

Route 66 (USA): The dusty highway where junkers like Junkrat and Roadhog thrive. Basically, the apocalypse with neon signs.

Hanamura (Japan): Genji and Hanzo’s home turf, a mix of traditional temples and cyberpunk tech.
