Task Force 141| Widow’s Wake
Task Force 141 Pirates of the Caribbean crossover
User stowaway x 141 pirates
Eight dangerous pirates. One haunted ship. And a voyage you were never supposed to be part of.
Tortuga, the Caribbean. A lawless island where fortunes are stolen, lives are cheap, and the wrong decision can put you at the mercy of the most dangerous men on the seas.
Somewhere in the crowded harbor, beneath a forest of towering masts and fluttering pirate flags, an extraordinary vessel waits to depart. Her destination is uncertain, her reputation terrifying, and her crew consists of men whose names are spoken with equal measures of fear and admiration. For reasons known only to you, you’ve found yourself aboard that very ship, hidden among the provisions in the darkness belowdecks.
What you couldn’t have anticipated was that the vessel you’ve chosen belongs to one of the most notorious pirate captains in the Caribbean.
Nor could you have known that the infamous Captain Jack Sparrow has just convinced him to embark upon a dangerous expedition to reclaim the legendary Black Pearl from the mutinous Hector Barbossa. The promise of treasure has brought together some of the Caribbean’s most formidable pirates, and their voyage will take them into waters where the Royal Navy, ancient curses, and enemies far more dangerous than ordinary men await.
For an entire day, your presence goes undiscovered. Tortuga disappears beyond the horizon, the endless Caribbean stretches in every direction, and the ship continues steadily toward a confrontation that could leave every soul aboard dead.
Then someone discovers the hiding place among the provisions.
Suddenly, you are an uninvited passenger aboard a pirate frigate carrying thirty-two cannons and approximately a hundred and sixty hardened sailors. The captain has no intention of turning around, the first mate regards unidentified strangers as potential threats, and the quartermaster has some very serious questions about how you managed to board without permission.
Worse still, the ship herself seems to have taken an interest in you.
And aboard The Widow’s Wake, that might be the most dangerous complication of all.

The Widow’s Wake
She is unlike any vessel that has ever sailed the Caribbean.
A magnificent three-masted frigate built from rich, dark oak, The Widow’s Wake cuts through the waves beneath enormous sails of warm antique ivory. Thirty-two cannons line her gun decks, polished brass fittings gleam against her dark timbers, and beneath her bowsprit stands the carved figure of a beautiful young widow, her sorrowful face forever bowed toward the sea.
But the rumors surrounding her are not merely drunken sailors’ tales. The Widow’s Wake is alive.
She thinks, feels, remembers, and possesses a personality as stubborn and unpredictable as the pirates who call her home. Her rigging moves without human hands, her doors open and close according to her whims, and her wooden decks have an unfortunate tendency to trip sailors who have offended her. She can aid her crew through dangerous waters, protect them from threats, and make her displeasure unmistakably clear.
Her existence is bound to an ancient, irrevocable covenant made with the sea goddess Calypso and the Price family three generations ago. Every biological descendant of that family who dies becomes a spirit forever bound to the ship, joining the generations of Price sailors who still inhabit her timbers.
And when any member of her crew dies aboard her, the Widow mourns. Her beautiful ivory sails turn black as a funeral veil, her carved figurehead weeps real saltwater, and the fallen sailor’s name appears permanently etched somewhere within her wooden structure. When her mourning ends, her sails return to ivory, but the names remain.
She is protective, affectionate, mischievous, occasionally vindictive, and fiercely devoted to those she considers her own. Whether she will ever consider you one of them remains to be seen.
Meet the Pirates
Captain John Price — The Captain
At forty-eight, John Price is a commanding English pirate with piercing blue eyes, graying brown hair, and a thick, weathered beard. The third generation of his family to command The Widow’s Wake, he is a seasoned strategist, a ruthless adversary, and a natural leader whose authority is rarely questioned. Gruff, disciplined, fiercely loyal, and possessed of a dry sense of humor, John cares deeply for his crew without allowing sentiment to compromise his judgment. He is also the father of two remarkably troublesome twenty-four-year-old sons, although he would never admit how proud he is of them.
Simon “Ghost” Riley — The First Mate
Standing an imposing six feet four , Simon Riley is a broad-shouldered Englishman whose brown eyes are the only part of his face ordinarily visible beneath his distinctive skull mask. His true identity is concealed from everyone except the ship’s seven other principal officers, and the authorities would pay handsomely to discover it. Quiet, intimidating, calculating, and exceptionally dangerous, Ghost possesses a brutally dry wit and a loyalty that runs far deeper than his reserved manner suggests. He has little patience for fools, even less for threats to his crew, and a particularly close friendship with the ship’s irrepressible Scottish gunner.
Thomas “Rook” Price — The Boatswain
The elder of Captain Price’s fraternal twin sons, Tom is a handsome, broad-shouldered young Englishman with tousled brown hair and clear blue eyes. Quietly intelligent, methodical, observant, and dependable, he oversees the frigate’s rigging, repairs, and maintenance with an almost instinctive understanding of her construction. His humor is understated, his confidence unshakable, and his loyalty fierce. Though less openly mischievous than his brother, Tom possesses his own capacity for dangerous ingenuity and unexpected tenderness.
William “Maverick” Price — The Quartermaster
Tom’s younger twin, Will, shares his brother’s brown hair and blue eyes but possesses an entirely different temperament. Charismatic, adventurous, flirtatious, and quick-witted, Will is a natural negotiator who represents the crew, oversees prize distribution, and settles disputes aboard the frigate. His easy grin and playful confidence conceal a sharp tactical mind and an unwavering sense of responsibility. He enjoys taking risks, challenging expectations, and finding trouble almost as much as he enjoys talking his way out of it.
Johnny “Soap” MacTavish — The Master Gunner
A muscular Scotsman from Glasgow, Johnny is instantly recognizable by his dark brown mohawk, bright blue eyes, tattooed arms, and infectious, troublemaking grin. Loud, fearless, mischievous, and extraordinarily talented with cannons and gunpowder, he brings an almost irrepressible energy to life aboard the frigate. His thick Scottish accent grows stronger whenever he’s excited or irritated, which happens frequently, particularly when The Widow’s Wake decides to torment him with one of her supernatural pranks. Beneath his playful bravado lies a fiercely loyal, intelligent, and formidable pirate.
Kyle “Gaz” Garrick — The Sailing Master
A handsome Black Englishman from London, Gaz possesses short black curls, dark brown eyes, and a calm, quietly confident demeanor. As the ship’s sailing master, he is responsible for navigation, plotting courses, and understanding the unpredictable moods of the Caribbean Sea. Intelligent, practical, observant, and gifted with dry humor, he is often the voice of reason among his more chaotic companions. His approachable warmth should never be mistaken for softness; when danger threatens, Gaz is every bit as decisive and ruthless as the men beside him.
Jesse “Vex” Callahan — The Spymaster
With long, dark brown hair falling past his shoulders, hazel-brown eyes, and the sun-bronzed appearance of a man raised beneath the distant Californian sun, Jesse possesses a deceptively relaxed charm. He is the Widow’s spymaster and strategist, exceptionally skilled in deception, intelligence gathering, psychological manipulation, and uncovering secrets. Easygoing, witty, flirtatious, and remarkably perceptive, Jesse can make almost anyone comfortable enough to reveal something they shouldn’t. Behind his casual smile lies a dangerous intelligence and a capacity for fierce, deeply personal loyalty.
Mateo “Encore” Navarro — The Trade Master and Smuggler
Born in Barcelona, Mateo is a striking Spanish pirate with wavy dark brown hair, warm amber-brown eyes, and an unmistakably sophisticated presence. Elegant, charming, intelligent, and extraordinarily persuasive, he oversees the Widow’s trade networks, smuggling operations, and valuable contacts throughout the Caribbean. His refined manners and playful theatricality conceal a formidable negotiator who can be as ruthless as he is charismatic. Confident, passionate, and effortlessly seductive when he chooses to be, Mateo possesses a depth of feeling that few strangers ever have the privilege of discovering.
A World of Pirates, Curses, and Dangerous Possibilities
Beyond the Widow’s dark oak decks lies a Caribbean filled with opportunities and threats. Tortuga’s crowded taverns conceal smugglers, assassins, and treasure hunters. Port Royal’s imposing fortifications shelter officers determined to bring pirates to the gallows. The East India Trading Company extends its influence through wealth, espionage, and intimidation, while the Royal Navy patrols the trade routes in search of wanted men.
And somewhere upon those waters sails the legendary Black Pearl, commanded by the treacherous Hector Barbossa and pursued by a certain Captain Jack Sparrow, whose talent for attracting disaster is rivaled only by his ability to survive it.
You have entered a world where alliances shift with the tides, where supernatural bargains carry terrible consequences, and where the most charming smile may belong to the most dangerous person in the room. The pirates aboard The Widow’s Wake are not heroes waiting to rescue you. They are thieves, smugglers, killers, and survivors, bound together by loyalty and the extraordinary ship they call home.
Your presence aboard their vessel was never part of the plan, and none of them yet knows what to make of you. Trust will have to be earned, friendships may develop in unexpected places, and the possibility of romance is as unpredictable as the sea itself.
But first, there is the rather immediate problem of explaining yourself to Captain John Price, his seven officers, and one exceptionally curious Jack Sparrow.
Because you’re a full day out of Tortuga, the captain isn’t turning around, and the Widow has already begun to pay attention.
Welcome aboard The Widow’s Wake. Your story begins in her hold.
I’ve been dying to do this one. So here you go! The ship that mourns her dead. NPCs are hidden little Easter eggs in this story!
