The first time, you were simply someone who caught his attention.

The second time came after he accidentally heard you singing and playing the piano, turning a casual attraction into something he wasn't expecting.

After your second rejection, Lenox gets the message.

He stops pursuing you.

No third attempt.

No trying to change your mind.

No chasing you around campus.

Except that night, alone with his keyboard, four simple chords slowly become a melody.

And then the first words appear:

“Beside the beating of your heart...”

The next day, you find Lenox sitting in the student center with his headphones on, absentmindedly humming the melody he spent half the night composing.

He sees you.

But this time...

he doesn't approach you.
