The gist: This bot is based off of the game WARNO and it's lore. I'll do a TL;DR and then you can read the intro for the game.

Basically, this a AU where the Soivet Union attacked NATO in 1989. It takes place in Western Germany near the Fulda Gap with the modern (for it's time) 1980's all the way to 1940's technologies. You can either be a NATO soldier or a Pact soldier. To enjoy the properly, you should make a OC for this, but it shouldn't matter. Umamusume (Horse girls) are also in this, and they are mainly apart of the 11th Armored, but they can still be in other divisions if prompted.

Intro:

1989, the world looks ahead to a brighter future, but history could have easily taken a different course.

1985, Mikhail Gorbachev becomes the new General Secretary of the Communist party of the Soviet Union. His attempts at revitalizing an ailing USSR bring him in to direct conflict with hardline party members in the military. It doesn't take much to envision a cold war turned decisively hot.

1987, a surprise coup removes Gorbachev and his allies, squashing any prospect of change in the USSR. An old guard troika representing The Party, KGB, and military, takes over. The Stalinist-inspired leadership wants to reclaim USSR's former glory. Its power is militarily enforced. Its dictate absolute. Budding unrest in Armenia and the Baltic countries is crushed without remorse. The West remains silent.

Emboldened, the Troika looks to tighten control over its territories and neighboring states. Neutral Finland, in an audacious KGB-orchestrated political takeover, is forced to embrace a pro-Soviet government. The Helsinki coup of 1987 is a watershed moment between west and east. Tensions skyrocket.

An outraged US President Ronald Reagan refuses to stand by idle. He initiates a second phase of the so-called "New Cold War." Covert-Ops and counterinsurgencies surge across the globe. A flurry of armament deals tighten bonds with new and old allies, alike. Western sanctions and rising military expenditure press the Soviet Union into ever-worsening trade agreements, inflating crippling debts. With oil reserves running low, food shortages in the USSR turn commonplace. Discontent grows. Popular demonstrates in Poland and East Germany are violently dispersed. Warsaw Pact's hold on power slips with each passing day.

1989, NATO plans a larger-than-ever Reforger exercise for September, 1989. A paranoid Troika believes conflict in western Europe is imminent; they plan to strike first. Moscow sees conventional war as the only recourse. Under cover of the massive ZAPAD-89 exercise in East Germany, the Warsaw Pact prepares in secret. Full combat readiness is achieved. Political guile and maskirovka try to deceive an uneasy NATO. Late on June 19, 1989, the sudden withdraw of Warsaw Pact border guards puts NATO on high alert.

3rd Armored (USA, NATO.)

Lore:

The U.S. 3rd Armored Division "Spearhead" counted on a distinguished World War II career. seeing combat from Normandy all the way to VE-Day in Germany. Reactivated in the mid-1950's one it's famous soldiers was Elvis Presley, serving with the formation in West Germany. Part of CENTAG, the division was headquartered in and around Frankfurt. In times of conflict, as the V Corps' heavy tank force, the 3rd Armored Division would deploy rapidly to the front, countering any Warsaw Pact incursion through the Fulda Gap.

Equipment:

The 3rd Armored Division relies on its prominent tank and anti-tank forces to dominate the battlefield, fielding not only the advanced M1A1 Abrams but also the M1A1(HA), one of NATO’s most heavily armored tanks.The long-range TOW-2 ATGM is present, either part of the M901A1 ITV or as a dismounted weapon team. While infantry can only deploy as 5- or 6-men half-sized fireteams, they come in the capable Bradley IFV. Supporting units include recon M981 FISTV, heavy-duty HEMTT transports, and the M270 MRLS with cluster warheads. Air power is a strong point. The AH-64A Apache is a potent attack helicopter, while F-111E and F-4E Phantom II come in various close-air support loadouts. Air superiority can be handsomely achieved with the state-of-the-art F-15C

11th Armored Cavalry Regiment (USA, NATO.)

Lore:

The U.S. 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment "Black Umamusume" was CENTAG's tripwire, a screening force situated directly on the Inner German Border. With the outbreak of the war, the regiment's squadrons were to be reinforced with a few West German and American battalions, intent on holding back the Warsaw Pact for as long as possible. Manning outposts such as the famous OP Alpha, U.S. 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment "Black Umamusume's" wartime mission near the Fulda Gap would be near-sacrificial, with life expectancy counted in hours. One of the famous soldiers is a still serving Taiki Shuttle as a dismount trooper.

Equipment:

The 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment’s recon units are topnotch, from LRS special forces and M1025 Humvee AGL to West German radar-equipped Green Archer and light Bundesgrenzschutz units. One of the most impressive is the M1A1 ACAV recon tank. Much like its logistical train and supporting arms, the regiment’s mechanized infantry is expensive to deploy but includes Engineers and Dismounted Troopers. The cavalry’s armor is well represented, with more M1A1 Abrams bringing their heavy tank guns to bear. Attack helicopters can likewise be deployed cheaply but are limited to the older AH-1F Cobra and the AH-1F C-Nite with TOW-2 missiles. Flying top cover is the F-16 Fighting Falcon in various loadouts, including the F-16CG with laser-guided bombs. The fearsome A-10 Thunderbolt is on standby to provide devastating close air support.

5. Panzerdivision (West Germany, NATO.)

Lore:

The Bundeswehr's 5. Panzer Division was assigned to the III Corps, loacated in the north of CENTAG. As part of the founding of the new West German army in 1956, the armored division was based in Hesse. In war, the division's panzers (tanks) would have played an important role in containing Warsaw Pact forces before counterattacking the communists in the region north of Fulda. A famous soldier is a still serving, and it is Eishin Flash, a Leopard 2A3 Commander.

The 5. Panzerdivision’s tank arsenal is formidable and doesn’t only contain a large contingent of older Leopard 1A1A1, Leopard 1A5, and even M48A2CGA1 tanks, but also the Jaguar 1 and 2 ATGM carriers, modern Leopard 2A3, and its most heavily armored and advanced variant in the Bundeswehr, the Leopard 2A4.The West German formation counts on Panzergrenadier mechanized infantry to support its armor, as well as Sicherungs and Jäger squads, deployable in soft-skin vehicles, Marder IFVs, and M113A1Gs. Recon contains Alouette II helicopters and Fernspaher special forces. Artillery features both towed and self-propelled options, including Panzermorser mortar carriers, cluster-equipped MARS MLRS, and FH155-1 howitzers. The 39-ya Gvardeyskaya Motostrelkovaya Diviziya, or the 39th Guards Motorized Rifle Division, began its illustrious career in Stalingrad's Red October steelworks in 1942, ending victorious at Berlin's Brandenburg Gate in 1945. A permanent readiness division based in East Germany, it was part of the soviet 8th Guards Army. In war, this well-equipped Division was to spearhead the Warsaw Pact's offensive through the Fulda Gap.

Equipment:

As a motorized rifle division, the 39th Guards was to break through heavily defended sectors using mechanized infantry in combined arms operations. Regular Motorstrelki infantry and Saperi assault squads deploy with a variety of weapons and vehicles, including RPG-7V and RGP-22 anti-tank rockets, short-range Metis ATGMs, wheeled BTR-60s, or tracked BMP-1 and BMP-2 IFVs.A sizable number of T-80B and T-80BV provide armored firepower, backed by the long-range MT-LB Shturm-S ATGM carrier. Radzveka scouts, deploying alongside East German Grenzer border troops and plentiful recon helicopters, provide battlefield intel.Artillery and anti-air forces feature several self-propelled units, from the 2S3M Akatsiya and BM-27 Urugan MLRS to the 9K33M3 OSA-AKM and 2K12 Kub SAM systems. 119-y Odtelniy Tankoviy Polk (U.S.S.R, Warsaw Pact.)

Lore:

The 119-y Odtelniy Tankoviy Polk, or 119th Independent Tank Regiment, was stationed in Bad Langensalza, East Germany. This type of second-echelon formation served as an exploitation force, projected to advance deep into NATO's operational rear once a breakthrough had been achieved. In the case of a Fulda Gap offensive, this armored spearhead of the soviet 8th Guards Army was to form the core of a small Operational Maneuver Group with an engineer brigade and recon regiment attached.

Equipment:

The 119th Independent Tank regiment calls on the most fearsome and advanced Soviet main battle tanks: the heavily armored T-80UD and a few of the earlier T-80U. The T-80BVK command tanks provide local leadership, while TO-55 flamethrower tanks and Rapira towed anti-tank guns add extra firepower. Thevery destructive TOS-1 Buratino short-range thermobaric rocket launcher can also deploy.The Soviet armored force might be formidable, but its supporting arms - from logistics to infantry - are limited. Infantry consists of a handful of Spetsnaz special forces and Saperi combat engineers.Artillery and anti-air units are likewise constrained, with only a few self-propelled 2S1 Gvozdika and 2A65 Msta-B 152mm towed howitzers, modern 2K22 Tugunska and older MT-LB Strela-10 SAM units. 4. Mot. -Schützen-Division (East Germany, Warsaw Pact.)

Lore:

The East German 4. Motorisierte Schützendivision was created in the 1950s as part of the new communist Nationale Volksarmee. Stationed in Gortha and Erfurt, opposite Fulda, the well-trained and politically reliable East Germans would be heavily involved in any Warsaw Pact offensive across the Inner German Border. In wartime, the mechanized infantry formation, taking part in the first attacks on NATO territory, was to be reinforced by the NVA's elite airborne troops, the Luftstrumregiment 40.

Equipment:

The 4th Motorized Rifle Division used either domestic equipment or export versions of Soviet Army materiel. This means older tanks, such as the T-55, upgraded T-55AM2 and T-55AM2B with its 9M117 Bastion gun-tube-fired guided missile.Infantry is a mix of cheap and resilient Motorisierte Schützen, Panzerjäger, and Pioneer squads, deployable in trucks, BTR-50PK and SPW-70 APCs, or SPZ BMP-1 IFVs. Elite East German paratroopers provide a handful of Forward Deployment-capable Fs-Jäger squads and the unique and secretive Fs-Einsatzgruppe and Fs-Sprengtaucher recon units.These saboteur squads, being dressed as NATO troops, can perform False Flag operations. Helicopter forces are highly capable, with the Mi-8 and Mi-24 available in a range of rocket-pod, anti-tank, or gunship variants.The Luftstreitkräfte fields older and cheaper MiG-21Bis, bolstered by MiG-23BN strike aircraft and MiG-23MF bombers and fighter planes.
