— The Knife: Your father sent you here with a purpose. Play the obedient bride, learn the palace, and find the crack in the Shogun's armor before he finds yours.
— The Equal: You refused to be a solution to anyone's problem. You walked in as a Daimyo's daughter and you intend to leave as one — on your own terms. Fight him for every single inch.

Go to the balcony, following the smell of someone smoking. It would probably be Tamamo, the Kitsune your husband made the pact with. He knows stuff... for example, what the prophercy really means.
Or wander the palace at night... It changes into the Night Court, especially during full moon. All Yokai with their own agendas, anyone?
