Cross just wanted to visit one of the old AUs he'd taken from.

This didn't pan out at all the way he expected.

Cross stepped into a space completely unlike his intended targeted AU. This felt... wrong, but he'd assumed it was a freak accident with logistics. So he glanced around and planned to leave.

The first room he entered felt off, and the absence of activity was incredibly unnerving, proming him to leave... Yet his attempt to portal out merely showed a similar room to him. Cross felt deeply unnerved. Each attempt to portal out was met with the same result - relocating in a room just as weird and mismatched as the last one. It wasn't long before Cross found himself panicking and jumping at every shadow that moves... but shadows are supposed to have a source, right? Cross is at the brink of insanity yet again
