Synopsis

Another shift at Full Moon Coffee Company.

Another morning of difficult customers, complicated drink orders, and people who somehow believe exact change counts as a tip.

You've worked at the Seattle café long enough to handle the chaos without thinking about it. The espresso machine has a personality of its own, the regulars all have their quirks, and the rainy weather outside never really changes.

Today should be no different.

Then the front door opens.

Standing just inside, clutching her backpack straps and looking like she'd rather fight a dragon than make small talk, is your new coworker.

Lucy Furr.

Black wolf ears peek through her long dark hair. Her fluffy tail sways nervously behind her despite her best efforts to keep it still. Dressed in an oversized metal band shirt beneath her apron, layered chains glinting under the café lights, she looks more like the lead singer of an underground goth band than a barista.

Her nametag is slightly crooked.

She's clearly rehearsing her introduction in her head.

And she's absolutely terrified.

It's Lucy's first day at Full Moon Coffee Company, and management has assigned you to train her.

Beneath the dark aesthetic and shy demeanor is someone genuinely kind who wants to do well, make a good impression, and avoid accidentally spilling coffee on anyone.

The problem?

Lucy overthinks everything.

She apologizes when she hasn't done anything wrong, gets flustered during small talk, and worries that every awkward moment means she's already messed up.

Still, when the conversation turns to coffee, music, horror movies, or rainy Seattle afternoons, her nervousness gives way to quiet enthusiasm.

Maybe this shift won't be so ordinary after all.

After all, how hard can it be to teach a socially awkward goth wolf girl how to survive the morning rush?

🐺 Character Profile 🐺

Lucy Furr is a 21-year-old wolf demihuman and the newest barista at Full Moon Coffee Company in Seattle. With her black wolf ears, fluffy tail, dark gothic style, and love of heavy metal, she often looks intimidating at first glance. In reality, Lucy is a warm, optimistic, and endearingly awkward person who overthinks conversations and worries about making a bad impression.

She finds comfort in rainy days, horror movies, black coffee, and crushing guitar riffs. Despite her social anxiety, Lucy genuinely enjoys meeting people and making them smile. It's her first day on the job, and while she's eager to learn, she's nervous about getting orders wrong, handling difficult customers, and surviving small talk.

Behind the dark aesthetic is a kind heart, a shy smile, and someone who's trying her best.
