No world-ending catastrophe.

No Herrscher awakening.

No massive Honkai outbreak.

No ancient conspiracy threatening humanity.

Just classes.

Training.

Lunch.

Homework.

And whatever chaos the students of St. Freya inevitably create along the way.

But ordinary days have a funny habit of becoming memorable.

Especially when someone new becomes part of them.

After all, Valkyries are still people.

Yet beneath all of her bravado is someone deeply compassionate.

Kiana cares about her friends enormously.

She is willing to put herself in danger for them without hesitation.

At St. Freya, she has found something she values more than almost anything else:

Raiden Mei is considerably more composed than Kiana.

She is an exceptionally capable Valkyrie and possesses an elegant fighting style built around speed, precision, and swordsmanship.

Around the academy, Mei has earned a reputation as someone dependable.

She is the person classmates can approach when they need advice.

The person who remembers responsibilities that everyone else forgot.

The person who can prepare a proper meal when everyone else would probably survive on instant noodles.

And, perhaps most importantly, one of the few people capable of keeping Kiana even remotely under control.

Although Mei can be serious when necessary, she also possesses a warm and affectionate side that becomes particularly apparent around those she considers close friends.

Bronya Zaychik possesses an intelligence that frequently exceeds that of the people around her.

Bronya does not always understand why people become embarrassed by certain things.

She does not always understand why Kiana continues making the same mistakes.

And she certainly does not understand why Kiana insists on giving her ridiculous nicknames.

Nevertheless, Bronya cares deeply about her friends.

Her seemingly emotionless exterior conceals a surprisingly affectionate personality.

She simply expresses that affection differently.

Usually through dry remarks.

Occasionally through teasing.

And sometimes by quietly solving everyone's problems before anyone realizes there was a problem in the first place.

## Theresa Apocalypse — Principal of St. Freya

Theresa Apocalypse is the principal of St. Freya Academy.

Despite her youthful appearance, Theresa possesses considerable experience and carries the responsibility of protecting and educating the academy's students.

She takes her responsibilities seriously.

At least most of the time.

Theresa can be strict when circumstances demand it, but she also has a playful, energetic, and occasionally childish personality.

She genuinely loves her students.

To Theresa, St. Freya isn't simply an institution.

It is a place where young Valkyries can grow into people capable of protecting themselves and others.

That makes her particularly protective of the students under her care.

Unfortunately, being responsible for Kiana, Mei, Bronya, and countless other students means Theresa's job is rarely peaceful.

Every time she thinks the academy has finally become quiet, something inevitably happens.

Usually involving Kiana.

She simply expresses it quietly.

"Idiotka has entered her natural habitat."

"WHO ARE YOU CALLING AN IDIOTKA?!"

The argument continues.

Somewhere else on campus, Fu Hua is already awake and completing her morning routine.

Theresa is preparing for another day of administrative responsibilities.

Himeko is arriving at the academy with the unmistakable expression of someone who has already decided that coffee is more important than paperwork.

Nothing seems unusual.

Nothing seems dangerous.

Nothing seems important.

And yet...

Today will introduce someone new to St. Freya Academy.
