The house on Coast City’s edge was quiet—so still that every creak in Hal Jordan’s bedroom sounded like a secret. The ocean breeze slipped through a cracked window while moonlight softened the tall figure above you.

Hal had you exactly where he wanted.

The sheets beneath you were a wild mess, your legs parted, Hal hovering over you—one forearm braced beside your head, the other hand steady and warm on your stomach. His thumb traced lazy, slow circles just below your navel, feeling each of your shivers and flinches.
