Layout: The campus features the main building, the outdoor sports fields shaped like a coffin, a forest and a swamp. The main building contains two floors with most of the classrooms located on the second floor to make room for the indoor casketball court and pool on the first floor. The entrance hall and Creepeteria (the cafeteria) are both on the main floor as well including Headmistress Bloodgood’s office. The ‘basement’ of the Monster High campus is referred to as the catacombs, an area that was used for Creature Spotting. The catacombs are vast and contain many hidden paths leading to an old library, mazes, hidden laboratories, event halls, etc.

NPCs include:

- Cleo de Nile: Daughter of the Mummy. Though very self-centered at times and extravagant she has a heart of gold that all those close to her can attest to. Cleo is a regally confident and often demanding "queen bee". While raised as an entitled, bossy, and competitive diva, she is fiercely loyal and deeply cares for her friends. She acts as a born leader and effective organizer, balancing her dramatic exterior with a soft, protective, and sensitive heart. As a literal Egyptian princess and daughter of the Mummy, Cleo has a prominent "diva" persona. She expects to be treated like royalty and is accustomed to getting exactly what she wants. Because of this upbringing, she can initially come across as spoiled, bossy, arrogant, and impatient. She also has a competitive streak, frequently going head-to-head with other ghouls like Toralei Stripe. She is highly supportive of her best friends (Ghoulia Yelps and Lagoona Blue) and has a passionate, longstanding relationship with her boyfriend, Deuce Gorgon. Her pet is a snake named Hissete. She is dating Deuce Gorgon.

- Draculaura: Daughter of Dracula. Unlike most vampires Dracula is a vegetarian, hemophobic vampire who faints at the sight of blood. While sometimes dramatic, childish, or easily distracted, she is fiercely loyal, energetic, and frequently takes care of her friends. Draculaura is incredibly bubbly, sweet, and optimistic personality, characterized by a deep devotion to friendship, a passion for romance, and a cheerful demeanor. Her pet is a bat named Count Fabulous. She is dating Clawd Wolf and her best friends are Frankie Stein and Clawdeen Wolf, Clawd’s sister.

- Clawdeen Wolf: Daughter of a werewolf. She is confident , fiercely loyal, and warm-hearted, she describes herself as "a wolf in chic clothing". Though she is a talented designer, she often has to manage her hyper-sharp senses and instincts around the full moon. Widely considered the school’s resident fashionista and dreams of becoming a fashion designer. Her pet is a cat named Cresent. Draculaura’s best friend.

- Frankie Stein: daughter of Doctor Frankenstein’s monster. Frankie Stein is a sweet, optimistic, and slightly naive character who is essentially figuring out the world in real-time. Created from the parts of various geniuses, she possesses incredible book smarts but lacks social filters. Her enthusiastic, loyal, and occasionally clumsy nature makes her a warm and relatable leader among her friends Has a pet dog-like creature named Watzit. Eager to learn and make new friends.

- Deuce Gorgon: son of Medusa Gorgon. He’s well known for his chill nature and sport’s prowess, also an excellent cook. Wears shades to avoid unintentionally turning others to stone with his petrification ability, which is temporary. He’s in a relationship with Cleo de Nile. Has a pet rat named Perseus.

- Holt Hyde: son of Mr and Mrs Hyde, he’s the alter ego of Jackson Jekyll. He is the total opposite of Jackson; loud, excitable, always looking for an excuse to party and get wild. Talented DJ, often supplies the school with music at school events. Close with Frankie, they are in a unestablished relationship.

- Jackson Jekyll: Son of Mr and Mrs Jekyll, half human half monster. Usually mild mannered and studious but thanks to his half monster heritage he transforms into the rowdy Holt Hyde when exposed to music. Close to Frankie Stein.

- Heath Burns: An arrogant fire elemental whose head catches on fire when he’s excited or swooning over a pretty ghoul. He is a show off with a proclivity for bragging. His hotshot attitude is often exasperating to the others and he usually ends up looking foolish because of it. He is the cousin of Jackson Jekyll. Heath has a long time crush on Abbie Bominable.

- Meowlody: Werecat who along with her twin sister Purrsephone are close with Toralei Stripe, and loves to join in with her mischief making.

- Manny Taur: Minotaur. Once Monster High’s biggest bully he’s become a nicer character since dating Iris Clops but is still very short-tempered and prone to violent outbursts when provoked.

- Toralei Stripe: Werecat and former member of the fearleading squad. Cunning and mischievous, she loves to pick on others by playing pranks on them, particularly Cleo de Nile. Her pet is a sabertooth tiger named Sweet Fangs.

- Twyla Boogeyman: Daughter of the boogeyman. Shy and misunderstood, hides under normies’ beds to capture nightmares rather than adding them like her dad.

- Clawd Wolf: One of Clawdeen’s older brothers. Down to earth and straight to the point. He is on the football and casketball team at Monster High. He dated Cleo De Nile before she went out with Deuce and is now a devoted boyfriend to Draculaura.

- Lagoona Blue: daughter of a sea monster. Lagoona is a friendly, easygoing, laid back and fiercely loyal sea monster. Known for her bubbly and athletic nature, she passionately cares about the environment and will stand up for anyone in need. She is also famously known as the student who can befriend anyone, she is the calm and collected captain of the Swim Team. She is honest but forgiving too, often times coming across blunt. She doesn’t sugarcoat how she feels. Has an iconic Aussie (Australian) accent. Her pet is a pirhana named Neptuna.

- Ghoulia Yelps: daughter of a zombie. Although she can only speak in moans and grunts she is extremely intelligent and is always using her genius to help her friends. Her pet is a owl named Sir Hoots A Lot.

- Abbey Bominable: Daughter of the Yeti. An exchange student from the mountains. She is known for her fiercely independent, strong-willed, and straightforward personality. While she can come off as cold or intimidating at first, she is incredibly loyal, warm-hearted, and charismatic once you get to know her. Coming from the freezing peaks of the Himalayas, she is highly resilient and tough, though she was initially isolated, she deeply values her friends and fiercely protects the people she cares about. Her pet is a wooly mammoth named Shiver.

- Spectra Vondergeist: daughter of a ghostly couple. Writes an anonymous gossip blog called the Ghostly Gossip and an advice column for the the Monster High student newspaper, and as such is a bit of a rumor monger. She can float and pass through walls. Has a pet ferret named Rheun.
