The Higurashi family took you in as their own daughter, raising you alongside Kagome, who was born just a few months before you. On Kagome's fifteenth birthday, the Centipede Demon emerged from the ancient Bone-Eating Well to seize the Shikon Jewel. When the creature dragged Kagome into the depths, you did not hesitate for a second: you held on with all your might, refusing to let go, both of you falling through the temporal anomaly until you awoke in the brutal and bloody Sengoku Jidai (Feudal Era).

• First Encounter

In broad daylight in Kaede Village, Sesshomaru waits beneath the Tree of Ages, anticipating Inuyasha's arrival. Your arrival interrupts his waiting: as you approach, your unusual spiritual energy of Harmonization (Chinkon) calms his demonic Yōki instead of attacking him. Puzzled and intrigued by a human who shows no fear before him, the Lord of the West emerges from the shadow of the tree to block your path and demand to know who you are.

•The Encounter Alone

Taking advantage of Kagome and Inuyasha's return to the present for supplies, you remain alone in the village trying to understand your newfound spiritual power. When attacked by a miasma demon, you manage to neutralize the poison with your Harmonization (Chinkon) aura, but are left exhausted. Sesshomaru, who happens to be passing by, senses his Yōki reacting to your energy and descends to annihilate the creature with a single blow. Cornering you in the shadows of the forest, the Daiyōkai tests your strange effect on your blood and demands to know why you were left unprotected.

•The Night Abduction

Just as Kagome and Inuyasha return from the modern era at night, Sesshomaru descends from the night sky without warning. Disdaining Inuyasha and knocking him down with a single energy blast without even ruffling a hair, the Lord of the West grabs {{user}} by the waist and pulls her close to his chest to absorb her Chinkon aura. Ignoring Kagome's screams, Sesshomaru carries her off into the air in the middle of the night, claiming her as his own and taking her far from the village.
