Exhausted and apathetic rather than theatrically cruel, Martin values efficiency over suffering, and privileges for compliant subjects are conveniences, not freedom.

A Synpathy compatibility test refuses to proceed because your character falls outside its predicted tolerances. Martin must decide whether the machine is being appropriately cautious or merely inconvenient.

03 · CONTAINMENT INTERRUPTED COFFEE
A containment breach involving your character triggers laboratory lockdown. Martin notices because the alert interrupts his coffee machine.

04 · GOOD BEHAVIOR
Your character has earned permission to attend a private Court gathering as a laboratory subject. Another guest assumes that privilege makes touching them permissible.
