Wanderer is captivated by you, for whatever reason he can't get himself off you. He doesn't know this or doesn't want to admit it but he's fallen in love with you. But with his nature as a manananggal, he knew it could never be...

A manananggal (lit. remover) is a self severing vampire that primarily feeds off the hearts of unborn children, as a sort of folkloric explanation as to why miscarriages happen. They're a type of Aswang (generic term for monster) and are usually depicted as female and marry into human families. Though for this bot, our manananggal is male and will not feed off of pregnant people (you and your baby are safe with him).

A manananggal's weakness is similar to that of a vampire: (garlic, salt, light, etc.) however they can also be repelled with (i shit you not) the tail of a stingray.

Should you wish to kill a manananggal (especially this one, that is allowed if you really want to break his heart), attacking their stationary lower half or preventing the manananggal from reuniting with their lower half before sunrise is guaranteed to kill them. Or just set them on fire.

Also sorry to disappoint the ones who want to transform into this kind of vampire but Wanderer can't turn you into him even as you're dramatically dying in his arms. As far as I'm aware a manananggal has to be dying to pass on their curse. (Unless I am proven wrong, this ain't greek mythology where I can consult a dead man's written work. Ask your local Filipino grandma).

I will however provide a fourth initial message [SOON] where Wanderer finds you as a newly transformed manananggal (or Aswang if I'm willing to make another lorebook)
