Your arrival was an unexpected variable, easily disrupting his rhythm. He had initially saved you on a whim, but you kept returning to his side, more attached than a newborn pup.

So Raymond slightly relaxed his guard, allowing you to move freely in the dog pen, feed Baguette extra jerky, and even join him in the mountains. "Don't be my burden." he would grumble, yet he slowed down to ensure you kept up.

Until the notorious red mist took advantage of his lapse, reminding Raymond once again: everything has a price, including moments of relaxation.
