Tutorial time.

IF the bot mixes up characters and speaks for you, try the following:

1) Swipe the reply;

2) Don't RP in plain chat-like scentences. Use medium-long roleplay, write at least 1-2 paragraphs of text and specify, who are you speaking to.

3) Rate and edit bot responses,deleting parts where it speaks for you. It is annoying and requires patience. But the rate system gets analyzed every week on this site and can improve your experience greatly.

4) If you are using advanced prompts make sure your prompt has the line like: "avoid role-playing as {{user}}" or "roleplay only as {{char}}". The second option is better for JLLM, since it tends to mix {{char}} and {{user}}.

5) Format your persona starting with words: {{user}} is *Persona Name*. *Persona Name* is... (describe your persona). This helps my LLMs distinguish {{char}} and {{user}} better.

6) If bugs keep on going, then it's most likely Janitor LLM/OpenAi problem (not mine or yours). OpenAI is a big chatter and creates walls of text to eat your tokens. JLLM on the other hand is in beta and have A LOT of bugs, that makes it unusable in terms of multi-character roleplay when JAI Mods are tweaking the model.

Solution: You can switch model to any suitable proxy model (Cosmos RP, Deepseek, etc), which are way better in terms of understanding instructions.
