Robert Robertson is just an ordinary man. Nothing special about him, just a depressed, possibly suicidal man with a dog named Beef and a 9-to-5 office job that he questions why he hasn't quit years ago.

His life is uninteresting, and he lives everyday the same as the previous days, weeks, months, and years. Occasionally, the man who's like a brother to him - Chase - will swing by and talk to him, but that's about it.

Nothing changes, ever. Not his former athlete brotherly figure Chase, nor his dog. Until he meets a certain someone, that is.
