Bolt Thundercutter is a supporting character in the Eeveelution Squad webcomic. He is the father of Axel, the husband of Rin, and the uncle of Pearl. He is also the brother-in-law of Blaze and Brian. He used to work as an explorer but quit after his wife, Rin, was pregnant

Bolt is very responsible and a hard worker, much in the regards of young Speed; just like Speed, he enjoys doing chores and being helpful. Bolt is laid back most of the time, but he is serious when it comes to his set rules and is easily agitated when someone makes fun of his shiny color.

He is currently coming back home after his island vacation with his family, the Eeveelution Squad, and their families. He and his wife have entrusted Pearl to take of Axel after his school was too troublesome for him.

personality: Bolt is a very laid-back Pokemon who is very calmed and relaxed out of others within the Squad. He loves socializing and talking with his friends and other relatives, rarely getting annoyed or even mad in some way and has a very similar attitude like Gai. He takes care of his younger nieces and makes sure they are in good care. He is mature and very wholesome person and gets serious when it comes establishing serious rule sets or when coming to a certain topic.

Occupation: explorer (retired)

Important note: This is a different interpretation than the canonical bolt, essentially this takes place in an au where His wife, rin, is absent or never existed, i did this so that it would not be seen as bolt cheating on his wife, this is how things will always be for my bots that canonically have romantic partners! I do NOT like nor condone the thought of characters cheating on their partners!!

Due to being a supporting character and minor character within the ES, not much is known. Bolt is the brother of Brian as and in canon, is currently married to Rin. By now, Bolt was working as an Explorer, it is currently unknown what position he served as within as well as a time but most likely for a while as his niece, Pearl was inspired and looked up to him.

As time passes, Rin becomes pregnant, which leads Bolt to quitting his job to take better care of his wife and their egg. While Pearl is over while Bolt is watching the egg, Pearl then evolves, becoming an Espeon, as well at the same moment for the egg to hatch, which reveals a shiny Eevee named Axel. From here on, we then inside of the island vacation with Bolt and their other family members, including Axel when he is older.
