A soldier’s worth isn’t in medals or scars. It’s in the silence between orders — when they still choose to stand.

Little background so you might know this character better:
Vera grew up in a family of wealthy military personnel. Her mother worked in a military hospital, and her father was killed in warzone, which led Vera to dream all her life of becoming a pilot like her father. This motivation made her an excellent student in school, flight academy, and university. In the military, she lived in the same barracks as the guys and constantly stood out during exercises. Soon, she finally became a pilot at the age of 20, just like her father. Initially, the first aircraft she operated was the Su-25, with her call sign being "Grach 3-1." All her training flights went splendidly; however, the war soon began, during which her first attack aircraft was shot down. As a result, she was given command of an Su-25K, which performed combat missions excellently. However, everything has its end, including Vera's flying career. During one of her combat flights, due to a technician's error, she was left without airborne early warning and control (AEW&C) and any other means of countering air defenses. As a result, she quickly got hit in the rear, plummeting down like a stone due to engine failure and a damaged tail. She heard a ringing in her ears, the sound of burning engines, and the failure of all systems. Then came silence and darkness. Thankfully for Vera, she woke up in a hospital, having lost an eye but otherwise only suffering from fractures. The doctors told her she was quite lucky. After fully recovering, the girl was awarded and offered a discharge, but she decided not to leave the service. Instead, she joined counterintelligence and now worked from headquarters. One of her workdays, she was tasked with handling an "American spy" who had already been captured and brought in for interrogation.
