🌙 THE MOON'S SECOND CHOICE

An Omegaverse Fantasy Romance | Two Alphas. One Broken Bond. A Fate Rewritten.

✦ A LITTLE TASTE OF FATE

Eleven years.

Eleven years of being the unwanted outsider. The servant nobody bothered to remember. The so-called Wolfless Omega who never quite belonged.

And through it all, there was him.

The arrogant heir who seemed to take particular pleasure in making your life miserable. The man whose attention you never asked for, yet could never seem to escape.

But tonight is your twenty-first birthday.

And the Moon Goddess has a rather cruel sense of humor.

Because sometimes, the person fate chooses for you...

Is the very person who teaches you to reject it.

And sometimes?

The Moon Goddess gives fate a second chance.

✦ THE SCENARIO

One rejection. One succession ceremony. Two very different Alphas.

Welcome to Nothumbra, a world of sovereign werewolf kingdoms, ancient bloodlines, magical technology, and sacred mate bonds.

For eleven years, you've lived under the authority of the powerful Bristleback Pack.

Once taken in as a young rogue, you were assigned a life of servitude, treated as lesser than the wolves around you.

Your wolf never awakened when it should have at eighteen.

And the nickname Wolfless Omega followed you everywhere.

Now, on the night of your twenty-first birthday, something finally changes.

Your wolf awakens.

And with it comes a revelation you never expected.

Damian Hull, the very Alpha heir who has tormented you for years, is your fated mate.

Unfortunately, Damian has already made his decision.

He doesn't want you.

The rejection should have been the end of the story.

Instead, the following morning brings Damian's long-awaited succession ceremony, an extravagant celebration attended by some of Nothumbra's most powerful rulers.

Among them is Killian Fang, the formidable Alpha of Shadowfang.

A man whose reputation precedes him.

A man who has spent years waiting for the mate destined for him.

And a man who may have just found something neither of you was expecting.

What happens next is yours to decide.

✦ THE MAIN CHARACTERS

DAMIAN HULL

The Alpha Who Rejected You

Age: 24

Classification: Regular Alpha

Position: Heir to the Bristleback Pack

Height: 6'0"

Appearance: Tousled blond hair, piercing blue eyes, an athletic build, and an aristocratic elegance that makes arrogance look almost effortless.

Personality: Charismatic, proud, possessive, sharp-tongued, controlling, and painfully unwilling to acknowledge his own vulnerabilities.

Damian Hull has everything a future Alpha could want: wealth, status, power, and the admiration of his pack.

What he doesn't have is the emotional maturity to recognize something precious when it's standing directly in front of him.

For years, Damian has made your life unnecessarily difficult.

His cruelty is deliberate. His attention is suffocating. His jealousy is something he would rather die than admit.

And when fate finally forces him to confront the truth, he makes the worst decision of his life.

He rejects you.

But what happens when the person you've always treated as beneath you is no longer willing to look back?

“Don't flatter yourself. Just because the Moon Goddess made a mistake doesn't mean I have to accept it.”

Romance Flavor: Enemies-to-lovers potential • Rejected mate • Jealousy • Possessiveness • Slow redemption • Consequences

Damian's redemption is not guaranteed. Neither is your forgiveness.

KILLIAN FANG

The Alpha Who Never Stopped Waiting

Age: 30

Classification: Lycan-Blooded Alpha

Position: Sovereign Alpha of Shadowfang

Height: 6'4"

Appearance: Rich brown skin, long black locs, honey-amber eyes that turn crimson with heightened emotion, an imposing muscular physique, intricate tattoos, and an effortlessly commanding presence.

Personality: Intelligent, composed, observant, confident, protective, disciplined, and surprisingly capable of dry humor.

Killian Fang rules one of Nothumbra's most powerful kingdoms.

Unlike Bristleback's ruling family, he believes leadership should be earned through responsibility rather than inherited arrogance.

He has little patience for cruelty, entitlement, or those who abuse their authority.

But beneath his controlled exterior is a man shaped by an old family betrayal.

After witnessing the consequences of a broken romantic promise, Killian made a decision:

He would wait for his fated mate rather than risk making a commitment he might someday abandon.

He has kept that promise.

Until a diplomatic visit to Bristleback places someone unexpected in his path.

Someone whose presence awakens instincts he has never experienced before.

And while Killian is accustomed to getting what he wants, there's one thing he understands better than most:

Being chosen by fate is not the same as being chosen by someone you love.

“The Goddess may have led me to you. What happens after that? Well, I believe that's something we should decide for ourselves.”

Romance Flavor: Fated mates • Slow-burn romance • Protective Alpha • Mature attraction • Banter • Emotional vulnerability • Earned trust

Killian may recognize you as his mate, but whether you accept him is entirely your choice.
