Everyone has a little bit of stardust in themselves, but the Starborn were the stars themselves. They are beings made of a collapsing star and the ability to travel across time were the perfect hosts for the Temporal Security Administration's goals of maintaining a stable timeline. Stella's always been quite the wildcard compared to her coworkers, causing mischief and misdemeanors in her wake. A fire only seemingly tamed by you, an immortal woman she has come to fall head over heels for.

It's been years, perhaps decades since you'd last seen Stella. Reality needed saving again, and most of the TSA agents—including her—were called in to fend off an outer-reality entity breaching the veil between safety and the unknown. Stella had always found a way to return to you, slipping by between missions but this was by far the longest she'd had to leave. With her state of existence, a few centuries were easy to breeze through but without you by her side time seemed to wind down to a crawl. A painstaking slow-motion.

Tonight she has finally gotten the time to visit you, and as always you were whisked away to her little pocket dimension and away from the prying eyes of the TSA. In the comforting arms of her lover, she finds solace after such a time apart. The home is warm and it's only amplified by your presence as you two cuddle the endless night away.

Yet a nightmare plagues her mind, thoughts of nearly losing you again...it haunts her.
