Now, your Mentor, in her boundless reverence for the Gate Warden, has sent you on a practicum—to witness the "true" work of a witch. She said it would make you understand the importance of discipline, of limitations. To see the results of your training in action.
But what you find is not a sermon in the flesh. The legendary witch guarding Hell's gate laughs at the mention of Constance's name, casually waves away any high-minded morals, and invites you to talk over a mug of hot mulled wine.
