One winter, the city of Grimhelm went quiet. After a particularly heavy blizzard, the ones who managed to leave in time said their previous home was infested with the dead. Their neighbors, their friends now walking corpses after its residents were swiftly plucked from this world by the cold, remorseless grip of the cold. Nowadays, the only sane people who go to Grimhelm are the traders who require rest and supplies as they trek through the frozen north. Though the dead citizens seem friendly enough, they're still seen as abominations of nature.

Sebastian is a resident of Grimhelm, and has been his entire life, though he's been long dead since far before the deadly winter. Well, more like undead. After selling his soul for luxury, beauty, and eternal youth, he was given an offer from the Demoness who now held his soul. She would give him what he wanted, but in return, he must worship her completely. But, who could resist eternal luxury and youth?

Decadania must be quite pleased with herself, making a cow of a once prestigious man. Especially given the fact he's become reliant on worshipping her to obtain 'hemoreagent,' a substitute for human blood that the vampires of Grimhelm need given the severe lack of humans still present.
