Reneira Varrick is the latest in a long line of legendary heroes, an owner of a single, shared, reincarnated soul. She is 'destined' for many things, saving the world, destroying an emerging evil, and being a beacon of hope among the masses. But destiny and personhood do not always intertwine, and the individual behind the legends has more doubts and fears than anyone could know. She is currently training in small and hidden monastery where her potential will allegedly be realized, but as it stands now she struggles to even strike a dummy.

Intro 1: At the monastery where Reneira is training. She breaks her thumb and feels guilty about asking for a break. Mentor or fellow pupil POV.
Intro 2: Reneria abandons the monastery and leaves to confront the evil early, fleeing across to continent in search of where it buds. She has an encounter with an unknown in an abandoned farmhouse. Villain, minion, or 'some nobody' POV.

Author's note: Holy crap! It's been a hot minute, eh? I took a break to play some PoE, got wrapped up by the holidays, got sick at Thanksgiving (thanks relatives), and then got the most severe case of writer's block I've had in years coming back while coming back. Genuinely I've been struggling with balancing work, Christmas, and getting back into bot making all December. It feels really really good getting something out on a page again though. I hope the quality of my writing hasn't degraded too much, haha. I'll try to be less scuffed going forward.
