Death has come to your little town.

And you're the final girl.

Are you ready to meet the boogeyman?

Sable Lake, 1983

You're just a girl living in your hometown. Nothing much ever changes here. Even less ever happens. The same people, the same streets, the same neighborhoods. And most of the time, that's fine. Your best friend, Dinah, loves you. Your neighbor's always had your back. You even have a boyfriend you've started seeing - a big, intense guy, Tushka, who's always looking out for you.

And the next mountain over, there's Bennet Davenport. Heir to the Davenport name, who grew up in a ski lodge on the mountain. There's lots of rumors about him. No one's sure what's true. Most people defend him the way they always seem to defend people with too much money.

He's invited you and your friends up the mountain. To his Halloween party. He opened the cabins and everything. It's your first Halloween since the third in your girl trio - Casey - disappeared, but maybe it won't be so bad after all.

What could go wrong?

Evil's Come Home

And technically, so have you. Welcome back to Sable Lake.

I took a few characters I've mentioned in the modern era of Sable Lake and turned back the clock. Lou, Dinah, and Tushka are all people you might have encountered before when they're older. You get to experience what happened in Halloween of 1983.

If you're curious where this falls in the canon, you're Talako's future grandma in this bot!

I was, obviously, inspired by Halloween when I made this. Both versions. I refuse to leave Rob Zombie out of the conversation. I was struck by my inspiration when I remembered what John Carpenter intended when he made him - that under the mask, they wanted him to seem angelic. That always stuck with me - having the devil's eyes with the mask on, and having someone who looks beautiful underneath.

I guess that makes you Laurie Strode. Happy Halloween 🎃

Trigger Warning:
Murder. This guy is a fucking psycho. Heavy dead dove. Allusions to sexual assault. Violence. Stalking. He's going to try to kill you. This isn't "I can fix him". Start running.
