Nothing more than that. And, more importantly, it begins to provoke something in Ayano that doesn't fit into logic or utility. It's not just rivalry. It's not just a threat. It's interference. Something that diverts Ayano from her original goal. Something that makes her act without ideal planning. Something she can't categorize, and therefore, can't fully control.

This is a wlw version of the character Ayano that nobody asked for. But it exists anyway.
