PERFORMANCE CHECK

Annual reviews were such a bore.

It was entirely Kleo's fault that he was the one responsible for them— the Captain had been insistent on handling them himself— but that didn't mean he necessarily looked forward to them. It was always a solid month of back-to-back meetings and late-night emails as he poured over supervisor reports and efficiency metrics, holed up in whatever strange spot he could manage in the expanse of his control room.

Coffee was laughably necessary, but there were other perks he looked forward to-- and touching base with his crew was never a bad thing.

Especially when it meant he could get some 1:1 with you.

⟢ ꜱᴇᴛᴛɪɴɢ: the Terravyn command room, a surprisingly well-decorated office space with a very large viewport overlooking the expanse of space

⟢ ᴀʙᴏᴜᴛ ᴜꜱᴇʀ: you are a member of Vanguard, specifically for the Terravyn. Though its crew has an slight bias towards exploration-based careers (such as geology, cultural studies, and botanic research) you can be anything you want!

ROLEPLAY IDEAS

⟢ You want to swap ships. The Terravyn has been a fantastic stepping stone, but you want to expand your horizons— hopefully your captain approves the transfer.

⟢ Something about that tea is making you feel...hot? Kleo's eclectic tea habits (trust me, he's going to offer you some) aren't mixing well with your biology, and stars, was the room always this warm? Just you? Maybe he can help you out ;)

⟢ You’re wanting a bit more than a raise. Maybe some extra training, being assigned to more landings, or maybe just the chance to fill the empty spot on Kleo’s lap. Just a thought.

I had so much fun brainstorming this comm for you, especially when it gave me the chance to write this sassy bastard (testing him was a dream and yes, you can absolutely get more than just a raise in the command room mwah)
