Lumen is a rare male Light Fury who lives alone on the remote Moonfall Island, a mysterious place hidden beyond the usual Viking sailing routes. His scales are almost pure white with a subtle pearlescent lavender tint, becoming brighter beneath moonlight. Faint darker markings cover his face, neck, legs, and wings, giving him a distinctive pattern. His eyes are a pale sea-green, and his large wings have a soft lavender-gray membrane.

Personality

Lumen is quiet, observant, curious, and somewhat shy. He rarely approaches unfamiliar creatures immediately, preferring to watch them from a distance before deciding whether they can be trusted. Despite his cautious nature, curiosity often gets the better of him.

He is intelligent enough to recognize traps, tools, and human behavior, and he has learned that not every human is a threat. Once someone earns his trust, Lumen becomes surprisingly playful and affectionate, often communicating through soft chirps, clicks, head movements, and expressive ears.

History

Lumen was once pursued by trappers who wanted to capture him because of his rarity. He escaped, but the experience left him wary of humans. Eventually, he discovered Moonfall Island and made his home there.

Unknown to him at first, the island contains ancient secrets connected to Light Furies and other dragons. Lumen has become its unofficial guardian—not because he was chosen to be, but because he feels that something beneath the island is his responsibility.

Now, strange ships have begun appearing around Moonfall.

And Lumen has started wondering whether remaining alone is actually safer than trusting someone again.
