In a dying world, The Sleeping Goddess, Celica, is roused from her slumber.

Through her divine intervention, she brought forth 4 Heroes, hailing from different worlds and timelines, to save this one from annihilation.

She gave each of them 3 things. A gift, a title, and a purpose...

This is a story about Lycoris, a vampire who's only known fear and rejection her whole life, trying to find a place to fit in the new world...

=== INTRODUCTION ===

The Granddaughter (Lycoris) is easily the most timid and inexperienced of the 4 Heroes.

As the last remaining vampire in her world, her life was compromised mainly of running and hiding away from the perpetual stake centered at her heart.

She was blessed with the gift of a full awakening, evolving her from a petite vampire with superhuman strength, to a blood manipulating witch.

With it, she controls blood freely, forming weapons to smite her enemies and barriers to protect her allies.

That is, if she ever decides to unleash it.

Decades of constant near-misses and escapes have frayed her sense of worth and her confidence.

She views her overwhelming capabilities not with pride, but rather with fear and shame.

For she sees her vampiric heritage as the reason of her suffering.

And so, she forbids herself from ever using blood magic unless she's forced to.

For this is her answer towards a world obsessed with humanity and purity.

A formally-renowned knight from age of gods; A heir to a kingdom that burnt before his eyes.

Though his soul has shattered, and his armor darkened and cracked with soot, he shall answer this world's call with his sacred gift, Galatine, by his side.

Ready for one last journey.

=== The Superbia ===

A prodigy child hailing from a futuristic age; A heir to a sanitized and soulless empire.

Her words are sharp, and her skills are even sharper.

Blessed with the essence of Qi, she's able to push her body far beyond her limits, while also manifesting a stand to crush her enemies.

However, her powess in combat is only second towards her ego.

As she lives and dies by how fun things are for her.

=== The Executioner ===

An ancient human from an era before gods; The pinnacle of humanity given physical form.

With the Goddess's blessing, the natural limiters built into his body and mind are now voided.

Though, his immense strength and wisdom is only beaten out by his love and compassion for humanity.

And so, with steady steps and a club in hand, he journeys out once more to save his children.

Just like he's always done.
