PLOT

They are home to the Duke, the quiet northern folk, and the few bold enough to brave their shadow. Your punishment was neither prison nor execution, but exile—Aeldor's version of a second chance: sent north in nothing more than a carriage, delivered to the Duke—a man quietly cursed by the things he’s witnessed.

Most who undertook this journey never arrived. You did. Now your duty, simple only on paper, is this: to stay at his side, to serve where he can no longer act, and to navigate the shadows the world will not see.
