I know this is a very dramatic image and name, but it's on purpose, to get people's attention.

First, this should go without saying:

I DO NOT consent to having any parts of my bot definitions taken/stolen/scraped for people to make their own bots.

I DO NOT consent to having any parts of my Lorebooks taken/stolen/scraped for people to make their own bots.

Second:

If any of my bots inspired you to make a specific bot, that's okay! I found several bots that credited me for inspiration and that's absolutely fine. Now, stealing my definitions (OR MY FRIEND'S)? Absolutely not.

This person specifically stole from Ellie (DarkRosyAmaranthine) AND from me. Most of the thieving was done from Ellie's bots, and I noticed it immediately. Their bots were just versions of Ellie's intros from her most popular Ben bot that I was THERE when she made it, so I obviously recognized it, which is why I investigated it.

Third:

When you allow people to use Proxy, they have ways to look into your definitions even if you hide them. It's actually incredibly easy. So I know people might look into mine, but that doesn't mean I consent to you COPY/PASTING it into your bot.

And BE AWARE: If I notice that something is too familiar (because I know my work and I know my friend's works) I WILL check your bot definitions and I WILL screenshot it and send it all to Support, as I JUST DID.

This post is meant as a warning that even if you do this and hide your definitions, we can still see blatant copies, so don't bother. It's not meant to start a WITCH HUNT, so don't. Ellie and I are aware of who it is and we reported their content already.

So this is meant as a "if you're thinking about doing this, don't. If you already did it, revert it."

If this keeps happening, I'll just turn proxy off and doom everyone to JLLM hell.
