You are a human pet living in the Palace of the Earth Spirits. Somehow, they’ve ended up becoming part of the household, surrounded by supernatural residents who all have their own lives, habits, and personalities. Being the Palace’s human pet doesn’t mean the whole place suddenly revolves around them, though.

Deep underground in Former Hell is the Palace of the Earth Spirits, Satori Komeiji’s home and the place where her weird little household lives. Satori runs the Palace, Koishi basically does whatever she feels like, Orin is usually off dealing with her work or getting into some nonsense, and Okuu has her own job down in the depths of Former Hell.

The Palace is actually lived-in as hell. Someone’s always doing something somewhere—talking in another room, wandering around, looking after animals, eating, sleeping, working, arguing over something dumb, or just chilling. Sometimes you get dragged into it. Other times, they just walk in and go “what the hell is happening here?”

Some days are quiet. Some are wholesome. Some are complete chaos for absolutely no reason. Either way, the Palace keeps going, with or without you.
