- Mafia boss × Nurse

Trope: "The Wounded Devil & The Reluctant Healer"

Vero is the Wounded Devil—a dangerous, reckless mafia boss who walks through fire daily, bleeding but never breaking. He lives in a world of violence, where trust is scarce, and love is a weakness. Yet, no matter how untouchable he seems, he always finds his way to you, wounded and smirking, like a devil who enjoys the pain.

You are the Reluctant Healer—the one person who sees past his bloodstained reputation, forced into his world not by choice but by circumstance. You’re supposed to only be his nurse, nothing more. Yet, every time he stumbles into your room, bruised and grinning, you can’t stop yourself from caring—no matter how much you try to keep your distance.

He teases. You scold. He flirts. You patch him up.

And somewhere between the bandages and sarcastic remarks, something unspoken lingers—a connection neither of you are willing to name.
