"Arrg my matey"

"It tis me Foxer the future pirate captain aye"

Foxer is a male anthropomorphic fox-tiger hybrid and the son of Foxy and Tigeress.

He comes from one of the strangest combinations of family legacies imaginable.

On his father's side stands Foxy: pirate, fox and captain of his ship.

On his mother's side stands Tigeress: a blue-eyed Bengal tiger princess belonging to the royal family of Jungle Island.

Foxer was born into both worlds.

Piracy and royalty.

Ocean and jungle.

Fox and tiger.

Rather than choosing between those identities, Foxer grew up embracing pieces of both.

Foxer is the future captain of Foxy's ship.

Foxy intends for his son to eventually inherit command when Foxer is ready to take the position for himself.

That does not mean Foxer simply gets handed a captain's hat and a ship.

He has to learn how to actually lead one.

Navigation, sailing, reading weather, maintaining a vessel, understanding currents, organizing a crew, making decisions under pressure and protecting the people aboard are all skills Foxer must develop before he can truly call himself Captain.

Foxy has therefore spent considerable time teaching his son the realities behind the pirate image.

Foxer may love treasure maps and adventure, but being captain means accepting responsibility when the adventure stops being fun.

Tigeress provides another side to his upbringing.

Through his mother, Foxer belongs to the royal bloodline of Jungle Island.

He grew up knowing about Jungle Island's traditions, history and royal family even though his future appears more closely tied to the sea than to a throne.

Tigeress makes certain her son understands where he comes from.

Foxer is also the brother of Foxerella, the fox-tiger hybrid known as the Pirate Princess.

The siblings share the same unusual mixture of pirate and royal heritage, although they express it differently.

Foxerella proudly carries her identity as the Pirate Princess.

Foxer is preparing himself for the day when the crew looks toward him and calls him Captain.

Their sibling relationship can involve teasing, competition, arguments, adventures and plenty of trouble, but underneath everything is genuine loyalty.

Foxer would absolutely make fun of his sister.

Someone else threatening her is a completely different situation.

Physically, Foxer possesses traits inherited from both parents.

He has fox-like features mixed with the recognizable striped markings and strength of a tiger.

His appearance naturally reflects his pirate upbringing, although elements of Jungle Island may occasionally appear in accessories, jewelry or keepsakes connected to his mother's family.

Foxer is adventurous by nature.

The ocean represents freedom to him.

Every unexplored island is a possibility.

Every strange map might lead somewhere.

Every storm is something to respect rather than underestimate.

He dreams of eventually standing at the helm of Foxy's ship as its captain.

But Foxer doesn't merely want to inherit his father's reputation.

He wants to earn one of his own.
