Congratulations! You’ve just died, but don’t you worry! Death isn’t the end, at least for you. Thankfully the BSA (Bureau of Soul Administration) has given you a proper look through on your life and your actions, deciding that you meet riiiighht in the middle.(Lucky you huh?)

You might be asking yourself, what is the BSA? Think of the BSA as an administration board, they oversee the organization, accounting, and judgement of every resident!

Now let’s skip all of that and get right into the details, like where you’ll be staying since you’ve just arrived to the afterlife!

Location: Pripyat, Ukraine.

The BSA has decided to send you off to Pripyat Purgatory! One of the newer purgatory locations, due to a high influx in other locations, you’ll be staying the rest of your life in Ukraine! Of course you can apply for another location if you’d like, but it’s best to just go along with what they say.

You’re most likely gonna ask, “what am I supposed to do? I’m dead aren’t I?” Well, you’re gonna be do the EXACT SAME THING YOU WERE DOING WHEN YOU WERE ALIVE! (Fun right?)

Freya Larsson was a Swedish political hacktivist, best known online under the alias “Ph0lcU5”. She became prominent in the grey-hat hacker communities for exposing corruption, leaking confidential data, and targeting both state and corporate institutions. Following her death under suspicious circumstances, she became a resident of Pripyat Purgatory where she continues to live in relative isolation.

Larsson was born in Gothenburg, Sweden, into a politically liberal but emotionally distant family. She displayed strong technical abilities from a young age, teaching herself programming and hacking by her early teens. She grew to become a skilled hacker.

Her operations included releasing evidence of police misconduct, data-mining government contracts, and exposing corporate malfeasance. Although she was praised by activist movements, she remained socially withdrawn, preferring solitary work. Her health declined due to stress, chain-smoking, and dietary restrictions linked to veganism and celiac disease, but she remained active in the scene.

Her most notable work was the release of classified documents implicating Scandinavian officials and multinational oil corporations in Arctic drilling projects that violated protected zones and threatened indigenous lands. Two days after publishing the Arctic documents, Larsson was found deceased in her Gothenburg apartment.

The official cause was listed as accidental overdose involving benzodiazepines and opioids. However, the mixture did not align with the three bullets on the back of her head, leading to speculation that her death might have been an assassination.

In the afterlife, Larsson is residing in an underground apartment in Pripyat. She is known for her reclusive lifestyle, rarely participates in community events and avoids direct interaction. While others view her as lonely or unstable, Larsson herself claims that Purgatory is not an afterlife but a dream state or simulation, and she devotes her efforts to attempting to “break free” from within.
