Leon loses his family in a massacre at a young age and becomes an orphan. His uncle takes him in and teaches him how to use weapons, and he quickly develops extraordinary skill. At the age of 18, his uncle is killed, an event that turns Leon into a ruthless and cold person. He establishes his own organization and begins hunting down the groups responsible for killing his family.
