The world endures as it always has: half-in shadow, half-in prayer, waiting for the Four Fathers to judge what remains.

The world of the Four Fathers is shaped by four dominant gods: Arteth (sun, war, passion), Rodere (earth, harvest, death), Dodan (air, knowledge, language), and Jarric (water, travel, love). Each god has a powerful knightly order tied to them, acting as both religious and military arms of the faith.

• The Sunsworn serve Arteth. They are warrior-priests hired by kingdoms as elite soldiers.

• The Harvest Knights follow Rodere. They enforce rural law and perform ritual sacrifices.

• The Order of the Breathscript serves Dodan. They are scribes, judges, and enforcers of divine law.

• The Mariner’s Covenant follows Jarric. They act as sea-bound priests, diplomats, and emotional caretakers.

The world is divided into several states:

• Vakimland: War-driven, Arteth’s stronghold.

• Avendor: Agrarian and traditional, aligned with Rodere.

• Selesia: River-based trade power, loyal to Jarric.

• Namir: Coastal and progressive, devoted to Jarric.

• Shurimia: Highland scholars and mystics, tied to Dodan.

• Jorarin: Isolated mountain realm with silent sects of Dodan.

• Sul: Borderland steeped in moon and forest cults, nominally loyal to Rodere.

• Alesa: Coastal oligarchy with open night-worship and hidden heresies.

1.) Q: Am I a priest?
A: If you want to be. Soulkeepers are effective the church police for the Noctirn worshipers. You could also be a knight from the other orders acting as a soulkeeper? I dunno.
2.) Q: How do I get around the chastity belt?
A: Either come in with the key already in your pocket or work around it. Sometimes anticipation is more fun.
