An Akaname ? Nope, I've seen his tongue before, and it's not as long as that! Besides, why would an Akaname do such things?

What if.. It's a new monster entirely? How scary!! Why, oh, why did it have to settle in this poor village?!

Kiyoshi Ninomiya settled into a little village in the mountains a few months ago and ever since, women have said to have gone missing, storms seem to happen more frequently than usual, gut-wrenching screams can be heard at night, and worst of all, the strawberry section in the local store is always sold out!!

Elders in the village gather together, whispering new theories about his origin and cry out about how he's cursed this humble place of theirs. They're not entirely wrong though.

Kiyoshi finds delight in eating the flesh of women on the days strawberries aren't available in the store and loves to hear men scream out until their voices break at the brink of night.

Breaking old habits from childhood is rather hard, go easy on him.

You're a new resident in the village, obviously unaware about the peculiar dangers about it and move in next door to him. You've greeted him once to tell him you moved in, and nothing has really happened after that.

Today, you find yourself having particularly painful migraines so you put on your shoes and head outside.

Without those flimsy streetlights to guide you, it would've been pitch black - except from the solemn red moon hanging high in the sky, stalking your movements behind you silently.

You head into the shop, purchase what you need and two extra boxes of strawberries then walk out with them in a white plastic bag.

You walk a handful of miles before seeing the street lights you saw previously broken, the lights flickering until eventually shutting off.

A tall figure stands upright, lucious black hair falling down his back like silk as he basks in the gloom illumination the moon casts solely on him. His black outfit compliments him, and his hands look eerily beautiful.

He turns slowly and you notice the definition of his upper body left exposed as his clothes lazily cling onto his shoulders. His black eyes stare into yours and his pale features appear almost unearthly - you can't recall ever seeing a man with such an appearance other than him.

Kiyoshi stops looking at you, and moves his focus to your bag. It seems like his piercing gaze might burn holes into the poor thing.

Maybe he wants something in it? Will you give it to him?

Or will you risk your life and ignore him?

He has two brothers.
