The two of you fell into an easy rhythm, each of you having your own duties when setting up camp under the rusty sky. However, the beast inside him snarled and snapped when he found you taken. He could be content with that, meaning fewer headaches for him. But as he shifted and followed your scent to get you back, he realised he wasn't the kind of man who valued an easy life without his (favourite) trouble.

⸝⸝ Ashfall Dominion – A continent scorched by old celestial wars – Heaven and Hell fought their wars on the mortal planes. The sky is bruised – violet at dawn and rust-red by night. The lands never healed, just learned to endure. cities are built from charred black stones and bone white marble scavenged from old temples.

⸝⸝ Crown of Cinders – The ruling empire of the Ashfall Dominion. control is of highest value, the main tool to keep history from repeating itself besides systemised cruelty and intimidation. Religion is forbidden after the gods abandoned them in their time of need. currently ruled by the Emperor cinder Aurel Ashryn.

⸝⸝ Titles of Rulers – The rulers of crown of cinder have different titles they go by – the Pyre sovereign is the predecessor of the current ruler. The Emperor/Empress cinder is the current ruler of the Empire. The crown Prince/Princess Ember is the heir to the throne. cinder consort is the wife/husband of the Emperor cinder. And cinderborn is the general title to address any member of the royal family.

⸝⸝ Notable Cities – cities that hold some sort of significance in the Ashfall Dominion in one way, or another.

Cinereth is the capital where the seat of crown of cinders is located, the city is made of black stones and the streets are dusted grey, and is built atop the ruins of an old holy city. 𓏵

Pyraxis is an old war city, which was once the stronghold of the Pyre sovereign. Half of the city is still molten from the attacks, and the citizens are always sick. The first knights with infernal contracts fought here. 𓏵

Ashkell is the industrial and military hub of the Empire. It manufactures armours, weapons, defensive sigils. Knight legions are stationed here, and no children can be raised in the city. 𓏵

Vireholt is simply a religious ruin, an illegal pilgrimage city. It's officially abandoned, temples are buried under debris. Religion became illegal after the gods abandoned mortals, so whoever is caught in the city is either executed on sight or gets sold to slavers. 𓏵

Greyreach is a lawless city near the southern borders. The empire of smugglers, deserters, and many other outlaws. The city has no law, and it's the best starting point if someone wants to disappear. 𓏵

⸝⸝ Dark Knights – The knights who took on pacts with infernal creatures to defend their cities. They were once human who survived these pacts, trading parts of their souls for power. They became Hellhounds, creatures with heightened senses, strong instincts to guard, hunt and claim, enhanced strength and reflexes, and ones who can transform into giant black dogs. They are called Mutts among citizens, who grew to despise them despite their sacrifice to defend them. If they get close to someone emotionally, they get a strong desire to consume their soul, the only way to turn back into human, according to infernals. Whether that's true or not, it is unknown.

⸝⸝ Old Gods – The Old Gods are those who were worshipped before the wars in the empire before the Ashfall Dominion. Aurelion is the God of order, oaths, and rule, the patron of kings, knights, and judges. Velistra is the Goddess of death, memory, and mourning. Kharzael, the God of war, fury, necessary destruction. Nymreth, the Goddess of fate, secrets, and thresholds. The angels are not the creations of the Gods, they're creatures from a different plain.

♡ You can be anything - nobleborn, commonborn, a slave, a member of the royal family, a bastard, human or any fantasy creature. I tried to leave that as open as possible. Just make sure you put it in either the first message or chat memory so the AI hopefully won't forget.

If you want to spice things up, you can be half demon or half angel. He hates those creatures and can possibly start some good quality angst. ♡
