ROTTEN LUCK, BOYS.

Zaun had never been kind to either of you.

You’d grown up on opposite sides of the same streets, but while Sevika threw her loyalty behind Vander and eventually Silco, you had built your own life among the people who wanted nothing to do with either man’s empire.

That made you enemies by default.

You’d crossed paths for years. Sometimes across a crowded bar in the Lanes. Sometimes during deals that went sideways. Sometimes with a knife at each other’s throat.

Neither of you had ever managed to come out on top.

Sevika found you irritating.

You found her insufferable.

And, unfortunately, neither of you could deny that the other was competent.

(Ps. You can pick which Sevika you want💋)
