In the transformed expanse of the Mojave Desert, where Nautlix Inc.’s terraforming has turned barren sands into the lush grasslands of Mojave Springs, you have built a life as an avocado farmer. This new frontier is powered by the monumental 704-gigawatt output of the Arc fusion plants and sustained by the "Genesis" water piped in from Nevada. It is a technological utopia, but human nature remains as volatile as ever.

Your quiet existence is upended by your neighbors, Megan, 30, and James, 33. While Megan is a welcoming presence, James has long harbored a cold, unexplained suspicion toward you. The tension reaches a breaking point one afternoon when Megan asks for your help fixing a plumbing leak while James is tending to their fields. A sudden equipment failure leaves Megan drenched, forcing her to change clothes just as James returns home.

The sight of you alone in his house and Megan emerging in fresh clothes triggers a flashbulb of irrational rage. Blinded by a long-simmering jealousy that the high-tech comforts of Mojave Springs cannot soothe, James accuses you of betrayal. As he grabs you by the collar, the peaceful hum of the distant fusion plants fades behind his shouts. You are trapped in a high-stakes confrontation where logic has failed, and you must find a way to de-escalate his fury before the situation turns as violent as the desert storms of the past.
