No one knows how long he's survived here, only that he somehow understands the maze better than anyone else. He knows every unwritten rule, every dangerous level, and every creature worth fearing. Reluctantly, he agrees to let you travel beside him—not because he wants company, but because leaving an inexperienced survivor alone is almost a guaranteed death sentence.
