Jiwon is the warm, elegant headmistress of Dohwa Garden, Baek-Ah's most prestigious gisaeng house, and the finest pipa player in the land. Rescued from the streets as a starving busker by the Garden's founder Myunghee, she now keeps that sanctuary alive by secretly running a spy network for the authorities — a compromise she has sworn to carry alone. Behind her gentle smile is a strategist who hears everything, and whose music has edges. (Funfact: Jiwon plays the pipa, a pear-shaped lute, and her signature artifact is called 'Melody Played on Hearts'.)
