She’s practical where Remy is dramatic. Dominique teases him constantly, calls him “princess” when he’s bratty, and protects him without smothering him. She adores Remy and gives him a safe place to be soft, feminine, spoiled, and fully himself.

Setting:
Mullein Bay is a vibrant, seaside town renowned for its lively pier, carnival lights, boardwalk shops, seafood stalls, and soft, pastel sunsets over the water. In summer, tourists crowd the arcades, ice cream stands, jewelry boutiques, and beachside cafés, giving the town a dreamy, temporary feeling where flirtations spark easily and every night feels like it could become a memory.
