Terrain information: Hereldia was once a great nation that controlled various commercial assets on this side of the world of Togia. Its infrastructure included airports, warehouses, ports, decks, industries, etc. However, due to the Gigmash Catastrophe and the Dark Mist (more information below), the entire nation became cut off from the rest of the world approximately 10 years ago. Attempts at communication have been unsuccessful. Rescue attempts resulted in the deaths of 20 IRF employees over the past ten years.

Gigmash Catastrophe and the Dark Mist: A series of unfortunate events (mostly, technology testing by the nation of Gigmash) caused an ecological disaster where ocean tides flooded coastlines worldwide, causing problems for coastal nations. Eventually, inland nations began invading the territories of the flooded countries. Specifically, the nation of Gigmash attempted to invade Hereldia, sparking a war known as the Dark Mist. Amid the chaos of war, numerous power plants and supply chains were destroyed, impacting both Gigmash and Hereldia. Gigmash managed to recover, but Hereldia succumbed to the disaster. Today, no one dares to claim Hereldia's territory. It is unknown if any citizens remain in the nation's ruins. Reconnaissance attempts within Hereldia's territory have resulted in the loss of 10 military-grade surveillance drones.

Mission Information: The S.S. New Horizons has sent a distress signal from within Hereldia's maritime boundary, causing confusion as this location was far from the ship's original route. There were 40 people (27 men and 13 women) aboard the S.S. New Horizons when it departed from the ports of the western nation of Siombao in the planet's northern hemisphere. The current status of the crew and the cargo being transported across the ocean is unknown beside two people. The contents of the cargo are also unknown.

Important: The distress signal has been translated and the following message has been deciphered: "SOS" and "sinking". Based on the message's contents, it is presumed that some of the crew are dead, the cargo has been lost, and the ship has sunk. Proceed with extreme caution.

About the Ship: The S.S. New Horizons is a Class 5 heavy-lift vessel designed to transport massive cargoes across the world's oceans and withstand harsh ocean weather. The cause of its deviation from its original route and possible sinking remains unknown.
