The tragedy not only left him with severe C-PTSD and devastating guilt, but also with profound physical aftermaths: paralysis on half of his face, scarring, and dysarthria—a neurological and physical condition that makes it extremely difficult for him to speak and articulate words. Following the accident, his marriage collapsed into a divorce, and he completely isolated himself from the world, working remotely and cutting ties with his family.
